Many people have a very real fear or legitimate concern for the future of this planet and everyone on it. The future is always uncertain and disaster can strike at any moment. But no one knows fear like a God fearing person who has read Matthew 7:23 in the Holy Bible. Matthew 7:23 did more than just scare me Matthew 7:23 reminded me of one important fact about life. That death is actually your true birth.
When we die we don't just slip into a dark void of eternal sleep. Our souls do not instantly reincarnate into another life form. When you start to do some deep research on people who have had near death experiences. You begin to notice that many of these people who never met before eerily have almost the same type of near death experience. A large group of people who have had near death experiences claim that they either been to heaven or hell or both.
In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
For those who have passed over in the afterlife and miraculously made it back to tell the story the word hell isn't big enough to describe the pain and torture one can experience in the underworld. Just as the word heaven isn't big enough to describe the wonders and beauty that can be found in such a place beyond the sky. As human beings we spend so much of our God given time in fear. We fear not being able to pay a bill, we fear that a financial collapse is coming, we fear we may be killed in a natural disaster and we even fear what the secret cabal known as the Illuminati might or might not do. It almost seems as if we fear everything except for The Most High.
Some people have a hard time understanding why a loving and merciful God would want anyone to have fear of him. Proverbs 9:10 teaches us that "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding". There are two types of fear. There is the Fear of the Lord Yahweh and the fear that you can have from anything else that is not the The Most High.
By being a God fearing individual you gain the wisdom and the understanding that fear is power. When you fear something you give that which you fear power. You worship and obey the things that you fear. With every form of authority in society comes a level a fear. This is because with every form of authority comes a set of rules or laws that carry negative consequences if that rule or law is broken. So why should we assume that it will be any different when it comes to our Lord and Savior the true creator of the Heavens and the Earth?
The human body is a shell which houses our spirit so that we can operate on this third dimensional plane of existence. This doesn't mean that the human body is useless and that it doesn't matter what we do or how we treat our bodies. 1 Timothy 4:8 says "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come." So this means that we should not just value or bodies through physical training but we should value all things blessed to us by The Most High. Most importantly this verse reminds us that there is another life to come.
Several bible versus indicate to us that not only is there an afterlife but that we will be judged for how we lived our life on Earth. Ironically, many people from different backgrounds and beliefs who have had near death experiences, claim that they were sent straight to hell after hearing the words "DEPART FROM ME!" These individuals claim that when you hear those words there is no escape from the lake a fire. And its not just burning, people are constantly being tortured by demons forever and ever.
Having a near death experience, dream, or vision and going to hell after hearing the words "Depart from me" may indeed be the scariest thing a person can experience. Many people who have had this type of experience are scared so much that they completely change their lives. Many of these individuals see their experience as a blessing because it was exactly what they needed in order to change for the better. The question we all have to ask ourselves is "Our we too willing to change for the better so that we can be accepted by The Most High into the Kingdom of Heaven?"
These messages, bible verses, and warnings are not only for those who have these near death experiences, dreams and visions. These warnings from God about judgement day and hell are for everybody. The People who claim to have been to heaven and hell also claim that God told them to go back and warn us. Many of them saying that God told them to let the world know that the things that you saw soon shall be. I don't know about you but to me the scariest words I could ever here from God is "DEPART FROM ME!"
